Buyer outreach for sell-side M&A
Sell-side buyer outreach, from buyer list to closing
For the boutique partner or bank VP running the sell-side. DealLaunch AI holds the buyer list, every approach and reply, each buyer's NDA and CIM status, and the weekly client report on one record, visible to team and client.
Build the buyer list: strategics, sponsors, one directory
Name a firm and a geography; DealLaunch returns up to four senior people with work addresses, from RocketReach and your contact history. Each buyer is scored on sector, geography, cheque size and prior contact; a gap shows as unknown, never guessed. One directory holds each buyer once across mandates, with its history.
Approach every buyer from your own mailbox
Connect Microsoft 365 by sign-in, or any SMTP mailbox with an app password. SPF, DKIM and DMARC checked on connect. Claude drafts each email from the mandate. You approve it. It sends one at a time, paced, no app cap. Replies are read back; the stage advances. Bounces are flagged. Five days' silence is surfaced.
NDAs and CIM distribution tracked, down to who read it
The sell-side template carries nine stages, Teaser sent to Closing, and the client report reads that stage. Teaser and CIM are per-recipient links: every PDF page stamped with name, firm and date, every open recorded, non-openers listed beside. Any link is revoked in one click. Native e-signature is not built; log the NDA's status here.
Report to the client weekly, from the record
The weekly client report is generated from the live pipeline. It counts by firm - two people at one buyer are one buyer. It carries the funnel from approached to NDA signed, this week against last, and every pass with its feedback. Ask the deal who is most interested; the answer comes from the record.
Several bankers on one sell-side, one record
The owner grants access deal by deal. A member sees the record but cannot connect a mailbox or send; a sender can. Each person connects their own mailbox, so every approach is attributed and nobody sends from a colleague's address - enforced in the database. Today's priorities lists follow-ups due, meetings, weekly updates and to-dos.
How it works
- 01Set up the mandateSell-side template, nine stages from Teaser sent to Closing; draft the buyer profile.
- 02Build the buyer listUpload your list, add names by firm and geography, read each buyer's fit score.
- 03Approach from your own mailboxDrafted per buyer, approved and sent as you; replies read back, stage moved.

Questions buyers ask
Is DealLaunch a buyer network or an M&A marketplace?
No. There is no marketplace, no buyer matching, no placement agency and no regulated financial services. The buyer list is yours; every approach leaves your mailbox under your name. Contact data is never sold or shared.
Can I import the buyer list I already keep in Excel?
Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV file with a header row. Rows whose email is already on the log are skipped and likely duplicates flagged. The workspace exports from Settings - no exit fee, no notice period.
Does it sign the NDA for me?
No. NDA sent and NDA signed are log stages: who has signed, who is outstanding, and the client report counts them. Whether a buyer sees the CIM before the NDA is your call, not the software's.
How much does sell-side outreach software cost?
Individual: 149 euros a month (129 pounds, 169 dollars), designed for up to 3 active deals and 1,000 contacts. Team: 399 euros (349 pounds, 449 dollars), designed for up to 10 active deals. Enterprise quoted. Cancel any time.
Do I get access straight away?
Every new account is reviewed personally. Trial access is granted on approval, no card required. There is no implementation project: create the mandate, upload the buyer list and send the first wave the same day.
Where does the deal data live?
In EU-hosted Postgres with row-level security: each account sees only its own deals, contacts and documents, and each mailbox stays personal. No formal security certifications are claimed yet; the security page says what is in place.
